?History: Mouth came from a local shelter where he was too scared to be a candidate for adoption. In his foster home he is already showing improvement after just a day!
Mouth is brand new to the rescue. We picked him up from the shelter on Monday Feb 5th. It was his first day to be allowed out of his crate since he began heartworm treatment in January. He's really scared and shut down from being in the shelter for so long, but he's with a loving foster family. He's eating and drinking so we know he hasn't given up hope. It took 14 hours but he finally ventured out of his crate when no one was looking. He doesn't really want people touching him, but we are offering gentle pets every now and then so he knows that it is safe. It's okay, Mouth. We'll earn your trust and find you a great forever home. You are going to be okay. Welcome to Rescue sweetie!
